Working predominantly in black and white, Gräni’s practice avoids strict genre boundaries. His images grow organically from lived experience — fleeting moments, impressions and emotions that reveal themselves through light, movement and form. Rather than staging or narrating, he responds to what is present, letting intuition guide the frame. Scenes from everyday life become visual metaphors, where stillness and motion coexist and invite deeper contemplation.

Gräni’s photography operates in the space between observation and interpretation. His images do not prescribe meaning but open it up — allowing each viewer to bring their own perspective and find something unique within the shadows and contrasts.

Through reduction to basic tonal and visual elements, his work explores how photography can reflect both inner states and shared human experience. What appears simple on the surface often contains subtle tensions and emotional resonance beneath.
